Programs
Children's Programs
For children through to Grade 5
- Nursery - "Suffer
the little children to come unto me,...", Mark 10:14b; provided for parents
during most services
- Sunday School - Classes
for all ages on Sundays, September through to June at 9:30am
- Awesome Ark- Each Sunday morning
from 10:30am to end of Adult Worhsip Service, children aged 2-4 meet for art,
blocks, games, puzzles, Bible stories and a snack.
- Light's Cove- Join the K-Grade 3
children for their own special service every Sunday morning in the little
community of Light's Cove where characters like Mr. Face, C. Shanty, Katie
the Crazy Craft Lady, Julie Horton, Yolanda, Chef Sharon, Dr. Bandaid, Deputy
Dave, Reporter Rick, Lily the Lighthouse Keeper, Angus, Miss. Daisy, Micah,
Millie and the rest of the gang share God's love to all who walk its streets.
- For
Grades 5 & 6 students on Sundays- MAX, Global Adventure and Good Listeners
- MAX- for Grades 5 &6 students
MAX happens the last Sunday of each month where they join together in
the Youth Room during Sunday Service to share in reading and discussion
of material to help think about God.
- Global Adventure- for Grades
5 &6 students happens the third Sunday of the month where they join
together in the Youth Room to learn about KBC's global mission emphasis.
We will help you think about the world and how you can help be Jesus'
hands and feet to serve others. Global Adventure helps prepare you for
Mission Tour trips as you grow older.
- Good Listeners- for Grades 5
&6 students happens first and second Sundays of the month. You get
to practice your listening skills and your maturity. Listen to the sermon,
fill in the blanks in the "good listener" outline and place
it in the box on Pastor John's office door. He will check your answers
and on Dec. 10th, on March 11th and on June 10th Pastor John will hand
out the GOOD LISTENER awards.
- Music - Messengers choir for children
K-Grade 5
- Childrens Summer Ministry - A childrens program with activities, crafts, sports and the study of God's word; July-August.
Youth Programs
For preteens and teens from Grades 6 through 12
- Sunday School - Classes for all
ages on Sundays, September through to June at 9:30am
- Middle School Youth Group - Tuesday
evenings at 7:00pm for teens Gr. 6 through Gr. 8; active program addressing
the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of today's youth
- High School - Grades 9 through Grade 12
- First
Serve - Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm; an "extra"
program for grade 9-12 students who are growing in faith and want to do
more. It is designed to help students be a witness to their peers, Church
Family and others by learning to “love in action and in truth”

- Youth Group - Wednesday evenings
at 7:30pm; meeting the needs of older teens as well as developing leadership
and spiritual gifts
- Music - Teen Worship on Sundays
at 5:45pm, Orchestra
Adults and Young Adults Programs
For those aged 19 and over, single or married
- Young Adult Ministry - Special events
and spiritual growth for college and career young adults
- Sunday School - Adult Sunday School
on Sundays, September through to June at 9:45am; pursuing topics from abortion
to in-depth bible studies
- Music - Adult Choir, Orchestra,
opportunities to form duets, trios, etc.
- Small Groups - Join our active small
group ministry where people join together at homes and at the church at various
times throughout the week. Spiritual growth and fellowship are two of the
key goals of this ministry. One-third of our church belongs to a small group!
- Adult Breakfasts - Both men and
women hold semi-regular Saturday morning breakfasts, usually monthly, where
fellowship, food and fellow Christians share the Word
- Fellowship (Adult Socials, Sports, etc.) - Various
events are held throughout the year including the Family Corn Boil, Country
Hoe Down, Sleigh Ride and Car Rally.
- Adult Recreation Program - The church
promotes and fields teams to play in local church leagues for hockey and softball.
